Our Founders

Betsy Acquaah-Harrison

Co-Founder & Managing Director

Betsy Acquaah-Harrison is a seasoned Real Estate and Facilities Management professional with over 15 years of experience in property portfolio management, asset optimization, and landlord–tenant relations. She has successfully overseen large and complex portfolios—including more than 20,000 sqm of office space across 55 bank locations—while leading facilities operations for major institutions in the banking, retail, and luxury residential sectors. Her expertise spans property assessments, lease administration, vendor and contract management, project coordination, budgeting, and service-level governance. Betsy is recognized for her ability to improve operational efficiency, negotiate value-driven service contracts, and ensure optimal performance of outsourced providers. Her leadership roles at National Investment Bank, Broll Ghana, Clifton Homes, and Barclays Bank highlight her depth in facilities management, asset maintenance, stakeholder engagement, and strategic advisory. Academically, Betsy holds a BSc in Land Economy from KNUST and is currently pursuing an MSc in Real Estate at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. She is also a certified Facilities Management Professional (FMP) with the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). With her analytical strength, professionalism, and results-driven approach, Betsy brings exceptional value to BETASA Property Solutions—ensuring that every assignment is executed with precision, transparency, and a commitment to sustainable growth.

Akua Asarebea Fosuhene

Co-Founder & Director of Operations

Akua Asarabea Fosuhene is an accomplished Facilities and Estates Management professional with over 15 years of progressive experience across corporate, residential, and commercial real estate environments. She most recently served as Facilities Manager at Unilever Ghana, where she led facilities operations, vendor management, space planning, maintenance oversight, and compliance across diverse office and operational assets. Her expertise spans facilities budgeting, contract administration, health and safety compliance, utilities and systems maintenance (including HVAC, security, and fire systems), as well as the management of transport, catering, housekeeping, gym, and daycare services. At Unilever, Akua successfully reduced facilities expenditure through planned preventive maintenance and strategic negotiation—demonstrating her ability to deliver measurable efficiency gains. Prior to Unilever, she gained extensive experience at UT Properties Ltd and Devtraco Ltd, managing property portfolios, coordinating maintenance planning, supervising contracts, and conducting health and safety risk assessments. Akua holds an MBA from the European University of Lefke and a BSc in Land Economy from KNUST. She is a Professional Member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) and a certified Facilities Management Professional (FMP) with the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). With her strong technical grounding, leadership capability, and commitment to optimizing facility performance, Akua brings significant value to BETASA Property Solutions—ensuring that clients benefit from efficient, compliant, and sustainable property management strategies.

Organizational Structure

Executive Leadership

Betsy Acquaah-Harrison (Co-Founder & Managing Director) and Akua Asarebea Fosuhene (Co-Founder & Director of Operations) provide strategic direction, client relationship management, and oversight of all property management and advisory mandates. The executive team is responsible for business development, institutional investor relations, regulatory compliance strategy, and quality assurance across all service lines.

Our operations team comprises property managers, field inspectors, and maintenance coordinators who oversee day-to-day management of residential and commercial properties. Key responsibilities include tenant relations, lease administration, maintenance scheduling, vendor coordination, property inspections, and emergency response protocols. The team ensures operational continuity and service delivery aligned with client SLAs.

Our finance team manages rent collection, service charge administration, escrow account oversight, and financial reporting for all client portfolios. The team includes qualified accountants and GRA compliance officers. Responsibilities include multi-currency accounting (USD/GHS), tax compliance (GRA filing, withholding tax, VAT), annual accounts preparation, audit coordination, and investor reporting aligned with IFRS standards.

Dedicated property managers oversee residential and commercial asset portfolios, serving as the primary point of contact for landlords and tenants. Our field team conducts regular property inspections, coordinates maintenance, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The team includes residential property managers, commercial asset managers, and facility supervisors with expertise in MEP systems, building management, and vendor oversight.

Our technology team manages digital systems including the client portal, property management software, financial reporting platforms, and data analytics dashboards. The team ensures seamless integration of building management systems (BMS), mobile field inspection tools, and cloud-based document management for lease agreements, compliance certificates, and inspection reports.
